Waterproof Coatings
Monolithic/Concrete Cladding
Capital Painting Services are specialists in getting the best out of your Monolithic/Concrete cladded properties. We know how to not only keep them clean but also keep them weathertight. We use amazing product that can stand the test of time and can stand up to the Wellington climate.
Repainting is recommended every 3-5 years where a glaze coat has been applied and 7-10 years for paint systems. For a waterproof undercoat we use Resene X-300E which is a thixotropic weathertight membrane designed for thick application over cracked concrete surfaces. It is perfect to help keep any stucco cladded houses weather tight.
Membrane Primer
To help protect your butynol roof or deck it is a good idea to have it professionally painted. Like any surface butynol gets affected by the weather and so requires cleaning every 6-12 months.
Capital Painting Services can go one better and paint the butynol to match the colour of the rest of your roof or if it’s on a deck we can match it to the cladding.
Painting your butynol roof can give the membrane increased longevity as it will keep UV rays from getting to the butynol.
Repainting to keep the substrate well protected may be necessary even if the appearance of the paint system is still acceptable. It is also recommended to wash the house at least every 6-12 months depending on how exposed to the elements it is and also give it a moss & mould treatment every 12 months. If cracks appear it is important to get these sealed as quickly as possible to stop any moisture penetrating the substrate and causing major issues.

No not at all, as we will work around you and your family.
Do I need to have anything prepared before painters arrive?
No, however we do discuss this at time of the quote.
Can you organise building repairs, electricians, plumbers etc?
Yes no problem at all.
Do you work in weekends or evenings?
